Also if your in central jersey you can check for civilian jobs on Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst. They made it a super base some years ago and theres a bunch of civilians working on base. Each branch of the joint base has some sort of school (lakehurst, mcgruire, and dix) some have multiple schools and also the daycare, prek, and youth programs. That would be a great place for you to look if your close (it says central jersey and we are pretty much in the middle here at ft dix).

I know this is a very difficult time for you. Obviously, you would prefer to have a permanent full time job. My daughter also returned home earlier this year. She had gone through some bad stuff, but is now back in school and working part time. She picks up any hours she can, doing anything she can. Aside from her "permanent" part time job - she baby sits, pet sits, house sits, and tutors. Most of those odd jobs pay cash and pay well. Money is money and it helps with the bills. Decide if you want to offer any of these services and then advertise. My daughter put an ad in one church newsletter and posted once on our community yahoo group. She sometimes gets more work than she can handle.
Best of luck to you. |

you're right. that's kind of the direction im headed in now. i know a permanent job is not going to come over night, so in the meantime i'm probably going to bartend..i know i can make some quick cash doing that.
