I'd love a gigantic house. Then we could play fetch with a chuck-it indoors!

really quite beautifully done. must take quite a staff to maintain. 4mil sounds like a bargain, upkeep would be expensive tho. we have a five year supply of multi-million dollar homes here (ann arbor, mi area), no one wants to pay the taxes or foot the upkeep. everyone is downsizing. sometimes i think these ginormous homes will be converted/used for continuous care facilities for the ever-growing senior demographic. with a resident doc, nurses, and caregivers. hard to believe but way less expensive than the current warehousing system. anyway, beautiful home...but way too big for one family.

i have one like that down the hill from me, i think if they played hide and seek with their little kids, they would never find them!

I'd call TLC to foot the bill, they could film my idea for a show - Brother Husbands, former Amish Extreme Couponers and their Teacup Pigs.

I wouldn't live in a home/area where taxes were $3,000/annum, those ones would make me pee my pants! We bought in the middle of Gawd's Country to avoid those kind of prices, taxes, etc. I still think they are nice homes. I would love to see one that big where everything runs off the grid - that would excite me!

Our property taxes for our 1650 square foot house with a tiny yard are over $4800 a year.
