My monitor on the desktop seemed to die....so online reseach and off to Costco about 10/11 am....normal to lighter than normal traffic. Ends up the new kitten was weaving around on the table where the monitor was and only the plug was loose...so the new big TV/Monitor goes back today.....sigh...it was too big for a monitor I guess anyway LOL LOL when a 32" is 20 bucks cheaper than a 27" - but will get a 27'" eventually ...
and stopped at Tanger outlets and hit 3 predetermined stores for specifics as I figured today would be busier! 40% off at Eddie Bauer, so some gifts, and got 3 silk shirts [originally $90 - ludicrious price!] for $12+ each..... Lee

Ended up not doing any shopping. DH and I had made going to the outlets about 45 minutes away a "tradition" at midnight, but I was just exausted this year and not in the mood to spend $$, so we ended up passing. I did a little shopping yesterday online instead.

We shopped, but it doesn't mean the same in Canada, it's just Friday here with a bunch of sales. Still the mall was busier than usual. Once the Santa Clause parades start happening around here the malls and outlets get significantly busier. I have shopped boxing day before, that is nutso and to be honest I have never really found any better deals then, than I could have gotten with prudent research through-out the year. I prefer to shop end of January, beginning of February when everyone is begging to have stuff bought, especially if it's some place I can dicker a bit.

I saw that there were hundreds of people at a Walmart fighting over prepaid phones. Must have been something awfully special about them. The Walmart employees should have gotten paid double time because they were the ones who had to control that crowd.

Yes I shopped, I got up and out by 6am went to kohls no traffic no crowds got everything I wanted and was home by 9 with breakfast. I wanted new everyday dishes I saw a while back with all the discounts I even had enough for this silly little tablet and a camcorder. Shopping is my stress relief and since hubby had another trip to the er last week I needed major stress relief.
