I have more fabric than I know what to do with (I could give some of it to Kyleigh to shred LOL)
I just found out that I have two weeks off work (Dec 24 - Jan 4) UNPAID ... which is crappy ... so I've narrowed down 15 patterns to 2 ... you guys will choose which one I work on over the holidays!!! I'm an avid reader and have thousands of books (yes, they are all on bookshelves, and sorted alphabetically by author). Thus, the reason for the bookshelf quilt that I like! The other option ... is to have pics of Kyleigh ... and maybe all my other animals ... past and present ... as the "border" So the options are: bookshelf quilt or pictures quilt Let me know - I don't even have to buy any fabric ... just need to design the pattern. The pics are really small, but I have no clue how to make them bigger without them being too big ... any ideas would be appreciated!

I love the geometric quilts. I have a collection of antique quilts and find myself drawn to the quilts with solid fabrics and clean lines.
One day I will get a Denyse Schmidt quilt... This is one of my faves,

I guess I'm in the minority, I like the bookshelf quilt, but hey since you are going to have a little extra time off (sorry) I say you make both!
