Thanks, Marion! I had never designed anything before, but I looked up patterns online and found the Bear Paw design. I wanted something very simple and unfussy, with bright colors, and a lot of black for the backround. I made a grid in Excel, bought a bunch of colored pencils, and started playing around with the color placement.
It took a really long time to get it, but it's exactly what I wanted and it would have taken twice as long (or maybe never, lol!) if I were to attempt it myself. |
