Exactly! This makes me mad, but if this was my Mom and Dad I would scold them for the situation, it had unscrupulous written all over it! I would hope my Aunt and Uncle would consult someone before spending that much money, this isn't 300.00 this is 1900.00!!! This is significant fraud, that dog in no way resembles a German Shepherd, that's why there were no papers and they met at an undisclosed location, so yes those people SUCK to take such blatant advantage of such naive people, I would hire someone to hunt her down and refund them 1850.00 .

Well let me spell it out in English for you since I authored what your interpreting, yes the seller Sucks, and if these were my aunt and uncle I would be upset with them for buying from such a shady person, doesn't mean I think they suck.

Did they get any paperwork on this pup? AKC paperwork? Really cute dog, maybe possibly, somewhere somehow, someway, this is a purepred hound dog of some sort and the lady got screwed up somehow if she breeds allot of different breeds, and gave them the wrong kind of breed????? I don't know.

Sheesh. Very very cute puppy. I doubt they have a case unless they have papers or something, but I wish them all the luck in the world with this cute puppy.

Basic rules

NEVER BUY A DOG WITHOUT SEEING THE HOME IT CAME FROM

If they claim championships or awards ask to see them
As for the name of the vet they go to and confirm before going to see dogs
Ask what medical screening they do on the parents before breeding
Ask if they do stud work
if they say yes ask what medical work they require on outside females before breeding
If they don't require any walk out the door
Ask to see all of their breeding dogs not just mom and dad
If you see anything that seams wrong (poor quality or anxious animals) even if it doesn't concern the parents of the pup you are getting walk out the door
Many breeders are willing to give references of people they have sold to. Use this and call! Make sure they actually got dogs from them and if they had any problems.
Don't jump at the first furry face that licks your hand
Don't go for the pity bit for the pup hiding in the back.

If all else fails bring someone with you who knows the breed you are interested in. Or if you know a friend who has a dog you admire ask them where they got theirs. This can help save you from years of heart ache.

you know most dogs that get bought in the world are when people see a cute puppy in a window of a pet store or from a byb....

a small minority of people that own dogs do any of the things that most here do...just saying.

look familiar? A German Lab. Yep you heard me right. Had him almost ten years ago. Anubis. Sweet but dumb as a brick. If I could find any of his puppy pictures the dog in question looks just like him as a pup. By the way I had gotten Anubis for free.
