What is going on? This stuff is all over Craigslist and check out ebay:

I know Hostess is going out of business, but come on! If you look through the pages, you will find boxes of Twinkies for $500!

I think its more about the 18,000 + families who just became unemployed before the holidays. Not that it would be welcome anytime but it hurts the most to see your kids wondering why they didnt get presents like their friends. In this economy its going to be tough finding new jobs.

I was reading that another company is looking into buying them. It doesn't help all of the people that lost their jobs, but I'm sure that it will make many people happy that are looking for work.

Twinkies have got to be the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. Never liked them. Good riddance as far as I'm concerned.
My husband shed a tear at the thought of no more Ding Dongs though.

I grew up on Drake's coffee cakes, but haven't had one in years.

I wonder how many (many many) decades those things are going to last, lol?! I know people who collect toys and won't remove them from the packaging, so they're worth more - and Twinkies won't be any different. LMAO, they could be around forever! I'll bet someone will take a bite out of one 50 years from now.
