Wow, lol. That's just silly. I don't like twinkies either but I am getting a box of ding dongs just this once. Haven't had them since I was a kid... Hopefully they won't be all gone from the shelf.

And no, I won't go to eBay for any. :P

While I haven't had a Twinkie in at least 20 years, I feel sorry for those who like them. The only Hostess product I ever liked were those pink or white Sno Ball things ... I'm not sure if they were still being made, I haven't seen them in a long time (but haven't looked for them either).

What? No more twinkie defense? But, but Judge, I ate a bunch of Twinkies before I shot him! The twinkies made me do it!

My first thought was about those families with kids, too. This sort of thing is only the beginning.

Dolly Madison factory a mile from my house that employed about 400 people. My heart goes out to them.

What will last for many centuries, people, is SPAM.

About 12 years ago, a friend of mine gave a baby shower and asked us to do a time capsule for her son. I chose to bring a can of SPAM with a funny note explaining it, just in case it is no longer available on 2021, when they open the capsule.

I am betting it will be just as rubbery fresh and pink as it was the day Hormel made it. .

Extra points to the one who knows what SPAM stands for!

I know Hostess is going out of business, but come on! If you look through the pages, you will find boxes of Twinkies for $500!

Its funny because hostess products are still going to be produced

This reminds me of the old Monty Python SPAM routine:

They have sopped production and will be shipping what's left. If someone buys them, maybe they will be back.
