<------coffee snob

I have this:

We buy whole beans at Costco - either the Starbuck's French Roast, or recently the Peet's Major Dickason's Blend, which they started carrying recently. Our machine makes one perfect cup of coffee at a time with the push of a button, we just add water on one side and beans on the other. It makes cappuccino in about 45 seconds.

Whaaaaaa?????
Well, I guess that is the really expensive Sumatran coffee they recycle the coffee beans from Civet Poo. It is kind of a delicacy like Birds Nest (dba Bird Spit) soup.

Would you believe I have NEVER been to a Starbucks or tasted their coffee ... I love Dunkin' Donuts and have no desire to try something else. FWIW I don't like flavored coffee of any type, just straight coffee with Splenda or sometimes with cream and Splenda.

I seen this thread and had to post! My dad just sent me something I can make all kinds of coffee drinks with, any way (cold or hot) with tons of flavors. I have not used it, still looking over the directions plus dad called me to tell me all the coffee drinks (and how to) .

I've had a Keurig at my house and down at the kennel for years. I go to coffeewiz.com and buy an assortment of flavors every few months.
I have a few that I always try to get, either for me or for my husband and clients.
Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve
Green Mountain Nantucket Blend
Wolfgang Puck Breakfast in Bed
Coffee People Jet Fuel
Coffee People Donut Shop
Starbuck's Italian Roast
Tully's Columbian

I usually put in Stevia and cream but am now on a diet so I am putting Quick Weight Loss Hot Chocolate in as a cream/sugar substitute and love it.

How did I miss this thread? Coffee connoisseur here (aka snob). We try all kinds but I love buying the whole beans from Fresh Market. I love East African, Sumatran, Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain.

My sister brought us back some coffee from Costa Rica that was fabulous as well.

I do not like Starbucks. It tastes bitter to me.

Starbucks is intentionally bitter. I read an article that said that they intentionally burn their beans so that no matter where you are the coffee will taste the same as every other Starbucks.
