Unhappy I should really not look at dog ads...

Cause I'm going to end up with another one... LOL! I'm not going to tell the world where I found this, but see if I can't get her outta there. Pics have her on a huge thick chain... ad reads:

I have a female German Shepherd that is looking for a new home. She is good with dogs, kids and people. She is not good with other small farm animals. I think mostly because she is just bored and wants to chase them. She would make someone a good guard dog, because she has a dark face and she looks mean. She has obedience training. She is a highly bred dog with a good pedigree that has lots of German titles. So she might make someone a good breeder dog. She will load herself into the back of a truck. Don't know if she will stay in to ride. Never tried. Might trade.

Good lord

Hey! She'll load herself in a truck!

That's worth at least an extra $100 bucks.

Got home from work, and have not gotten a response yet (only way to contact is email). So I dug a little deeper. She's another puppy mill dog. Previous ad for another GSD said "downsizing large breeds in the kennel, and no longer plan to breed GSDs" I just feel so bad for dogs in this situation. I know there's thousands of them. Does anyone else just get that sick sinking feeling when you see GSD pups in pet shops? Uhgh. Try to make the world a little better place, one dog at a time... unless I hit the lottery or something I'd be doing alot more! She looks so sweet.

I could just cry.

I think about how those of us here keep our dogs, and it makes me so sad that we seem to be in the minority. I am sick right now and barely slept last night, but set my alarm to 6:30 so I could feed Hans on time because he vomits if I don't.

I look at him all the time, I make sure he is clean, exercised, fed the very best, and I adore him. I miss him when I can't be around him.

I simply can't imagine taking such a noble, intelligent animal and keeping her on a heavy chain in a dirt pit, using her for repeated breedings. Makes me feel nausea. Really.

At least $100 maybe more.. When we load our girls up (inside the vehicle of course) to go home from a walk or hike, they'll sometimes only put their front paws up and look at you like " hey what a bout a little boost"?

Sounds like a typical craigslist ad. They aren't all that bad but unfortunately a lot of them are.

Its not Craigslist. Its Ebay classifieds. Still haven't gotten a response. Shes near Tulsa, and as I am going there next week I was browsing ads. I just didn't want a bunch of ppl attacking and blowing my cover. I'll keep trying anyway.
