LOL Well people health is something I used to do, plus I'm a mom. If it can happen to a body it's happened to mine or one of my kids. I was an EMT in Alaska and my husband is a paramedic
I'm insanely curious and interested in health and studied for a while to become a Physician Assistant. The program left our area (Sitka, Alaska) and I haven't pursued it since becoming a full-time mom...I was also a CNA while living in Alaska (certified nurses aide). As for animals - same thing in a way, and also the rescue has taught me a lot. I look up stuff all the time, due to the dogs we get in and the myriads of illnesses or injuries they have and can get. |

UPDATE,
so my hand is so much better. Been almost a week since the infection was spreading throughout my hand/arm and the infection is gone. The burn that turned into a huge round circle is still red, but no seeping or drainage. I suspect it will scar and stay round and red looking for awhile, but much better than losing my hand. It is still cleaned and wrapped daily, I wear a glove at work to keep bandage dry. Still taking 3000 mg of Keflex daily. Hmm, don't think I could get sick right now if I was injected with a germ. lol. Anyway, thanks for everyones care and concern. Going to be extra careful cooking for the holidays, don't ever want this to happen again. |
