What Are Your Thanksgiving Plans - Page 2

Staying in town and going to my aunt and uncle's for "mom's side". Not sure if DH's parents will come visit us or not, I'll leave that up to them. I'm not going anywhere!

I was supposed to go to my niece's house for dinner, but she's been quite ill so I guess I'll have either turkey or ham here at home!!!

Going up to my boyfriend's dad's house to spend Thanksgiving with his entire family. Looks like this year the dogs might outnumber the people!

Should be fun! Rivers might be more excited than we are

Working. I hate the holidays since my family lives in another country and I haven't spent a holiday with them in about 10 yrs.

Seeing as, I am dishonoring my family by a nick name I have, and until I come back to the "god" I grew up with and know to be the one true god because if not I will go to ****, my aunt will not be talking to me anymore.

Going to my in laws for an easy, finger foods lunch and get together. Other than that, relaxing!!!

I'll be spending Thanksgiving with the inmates at the prison I work at. My wife will be spending Thanksgiving in the group home she works at with the mentally ill clients who live there.

I would like to send out a happy Thanksgiving to all those who wont be home for Thanksgiving due to the jobs they have, police,fire,armed forces around the world and anyone else who has a job serving and protecting the people of this country so they can have the holliday gatherings with family and friends in peace knowing we are out there doing the jobs that need to be done everyday 24 hours a day 365 days a year, including hollidays.

So when you sit down to dinner and give thanks, include those mentioned above.

Im sure it would be welcomed.

We are staying home and I'm doing *all* the cooking. I want leftovers this year.

Not much, my husband will be "on call" so don't know how many people will break down or get DUI's and need to be towed. If I'm lucky, we'll get to walk Molly along beach during low tide. I'll make some pumpkin pie or caramel apples, I don't like turkey so either a lasagna or a roasted chicken and caesar salad with mashed yams in orange cups.
