1st Horse Show
 

So, my son's first horse show is December 8. I know some of you have seen the threads and pics, but it has finally come time to show! We are all excited and he cannot wait.

Yay! Cant wait to see pics! I'm sure he'll do great. Whats he showing in?

He will be doing English Halter Showmanship, pleasure novice, and equitation novice. His next show will be February so this will be a good stepping stone for him to learn how shows work.

Remind him it's not all about winning. The most important thing is to have FUN!

He wants to win but he completely gets this. :) He is doing the easier classes just for experience, with more difficult ones in February, March, and April. He is so excited though!

Forward seat or saddle seat for pleasure and equitation (I'm assuming english due to showmanship) and what is his horse? Good luck and a fun time to both of them.

Novice saddle seat. His horse is a 14.2 hh mustang/quarter pony cross.
