Default Need Stemware Ideas

I need ideas for some stemware. Something classic, elegant, and simple. This is my new china. Any ideas?

You could always have some custom-made to match your china, and have something extra on it if you'd like (: I'm personally no good at stuff like this :/

Mikasa Platinum Crown Stemware - Bed Bath & Beyond

This stemware matches my china. It is the Mikasa platinum crown series, but I don't really like it.

That's not bad bocron. I think simple can sometimes be better and I prefer simple clean lines.

I'm with you on that. My first mother in law was an interior designer. She always did very clean, crisp interiors. I learned from her that you make the major pieces simple and unadorned and you can add some fun with occasional pieces. (Simple table settings, fun centerpiece and linens for example). She actually bought me a set of Simon Pearce for a wedding gift and I still have it today and still get compliments on it. I always credit her for any great design stuff in my house .

La Rochere is nice, too. Overstock frequently carries their line.

I completely agree with your post. My grandmother taught me simple many times is better. Even when my hubby and I were checking out china, I wanted platinum rimmed, but simple. I think overdoing it can look gaudy and you can dress simple up so much better.

This is my china hutch that it will all be displayed in. I am still waiting on my plate displays to get here, but it still gives you an idea. The china hutch was just delivered yesterday.

Nice .
Get a few lucite plate stands to put some height in there with your new china. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Here is my new formal dining room. Ignore the tarp on the window, I am finishing the painting of the trim right now.

I ordered the clear acrylic that holds the dinner plate, salad plate, and soup bowls with the cup and saucer right in front. I ordered another acrylic set for my service set.
