Sorry, but from an OLD Browns Fan, that is why Denver Yuck.

It isn't fun to think of losing to anyone, but it is worse to lose to certain teams. My list of these are:
Baltimore, New England, and Denver. I absolutely abhor those teams.
LMAO!! The description of John Elway (whom I can't stand ) is soo accurate!
Like I said I'm a Bears fan to the core, but now that I live in Colorado I guess I have to default to the Bronco's as maybe #3 or 4 on my list of teams I like.
I guess being a Browns fan is sorta like being a Chicago Cubs fan

I am not sure about the cubs, but I think you have to be born a Brown's Fan, and if you are born a Brown's Fan, then it doesn't matter where you go, where you live, how many times they break your heart, you are still a Brown's Fan, and will be there in the end, right after the Fiery Pitt freezes over, and we win a Super Bowl.

Exactly like Cub's fan only you replace the fiery pit with a World Series

Lilie, if your hoodlums hadn't given Jay Cutler a concussion we would've taken it! (maybe)
Arian Foster is awesome though.

You know it! And THAT'S the way we do it in Texas!

Ok, actually, I don't follow football. I just know we won. I'll bow out before you realize I'm really a dork.

Hahaha, you're good! I probably wouldn't know football either, except I am the daughter of an ex football coach, so it's in my blood.

Back when the AFC Central Division was the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Oilers -- those where the days! Warren Moon and Earl Cambal, Terry Bradshaw and Lin Swann, Brian Sipe and Ozzy Newsome and so many others.

Football has changed so much.

But I still love it.

Then the Brownies were sold to Baltimore. And had ugly black birds on their helmets. And I had to become a baseball fan.

The Oilers moved to Tennessee and called themselves Titans.

The Texans, Jaguars, Titans, Panthers -- they haven't been around long enough to have fans that were born fans, not really. At least Cleveland retained the names and colors so we have been able to rebuild with our fan base. So that now it just seems like a hiccup in memory when we did not have a team, and we rooted for Kenny Lofton and Sandy Alomar, and Omar and Carlos and Justice and Albert Bell and Manny Ramirez, and Jim Thome.

I was still in high school when the Oilers were having their hey days. It was a lot of fun living in (around) Houston at that time. Everything was "Love Ya Blue!" I admit, at that time I did follow the Oilers, going to their home games etc.

It was a lot of fun.

Now everything is marketing. You can't even afford to park. Players are paid obscene amounts of money.

Just not the same.

Hey Nancy,

I remember a high school date, with my NOW husband. We watched the Houston Oilers play the Baltimore Colts at the old Memorial Stadium. Yeah - Gone, gone and uh gone. SIGH!
