Sending prayers of strength and courage to this young man's family and friends.. I know all to well the struggles they face and the challanges that lay ahead for them.. Definitely breaks my heart.
Losing a child is the worst.. Life as you know it will never ever be the same.

I am so sorry. My good friend in high school was murdered freshman year by her boyfriend. That has never left me. I know how your son feels. A word of advice,if your son feels the need to go, let him go to all of the services for his friend if they are having them for his friend. My father would only let me go to the church service, and I had to fight him on that one, because he thought, at 13 years old, I was too young. I spent years wondering where my friend was buried. It really bothered me, and I finally found her when I was in my 30s. My condolences to you all.

Unexpressible sadness. Prayers for family, friends, classmates... for peace, and for healing.
My mom never "recovered"... she lived with bitterness and unforgiveness for many, many years. (My oldest brother was hit by a car at age 7, 2 yrs before I was born.)

Heart breaking! It is hard enough to bury a parent but a child must be the worst thing in the world! I had a friend that buried her daughter a week before her 18th birthday, it was years ago. My heart truley is with the ones that lost the most...
