Thanks for everyone's concerns, I was having to work 12 hour shifts for a few days and no power for 3 days. Much luckier than many though.
Other storm 'drama' involved a starving cat I found the day after the storm that someone dumped in the woods weeks earlier. 3 days into dealing with his fleas and oh-so-many-ticks he started going downhill with breathing issues and he got to spend days at the vets. Finally got to take him home again today so hopefully the healing will continue. So, looks like my new orange tabby cat will be named Hurricane Sandy!
