Both myself and my husband ride. I have a 2009 Ducati monster696, and my husband has a 2007 Aprilla SXV supermotard and 2009 Yamaha midnight warrior. I've been riding for about 7 years now and love it. I started out on dirtbikes and then moved to street. I'm def craving riding this year but I'm "out of service" until next spring.... I'm 4 months preg with our first child
so no riding this yr.

I never looked like that (meaning gorgeous bike and yourself) when I rode, I had a small yamaha 250 for a few months then it was stolen, 30 years ago! My husband has been riding since he was a child. He used to do wheelies with me on the back of his bikes, scaring the cr*p out of his young son from a previous marriage. I loved it. He bought a used HD police bike a couple years ago, but haven't been out riding in two years. I am dating ourselves, but the last time we rode, we have to plan bathroom brakes into our itinerary.

I don't have a bike but I ride my Dad's when I go to his house in the Florida Keys. It's nothing special, a Suzuki Intruder. I love riding there. So nice going over the bridges and looking at the clear water!

We use to ride....(this was 30 yrs ago) first a 'chopper' with tons of chrome, and custom paint, it was a competition show bike. Then a Honda 750 that was made to race(the original crotch rocket)....I hated that bike.
Now DH wants a Road King, he keeps showing me the ones for sale on CL. I am on the road way too much, boating is my relaxation and I'd rather spend leisure time on a lake. IF he buys one, I'm not indulging/I'll be at IPO training instead! All my relatives and our friends ride, but it just isn't appealing to me anymore. Gharrissc, your bikes are really sweet!!! I don't like any kind of road bikes for a variety of reasons, I am however into dirt and trials.
Here's my brother's set up (with Blitz keeping guard). ![]() I don't have a motorcycle currently but am seriously looking into getting a KTM to do some long ride/camp kind of trips. |

I have a head turning Shovelhead. After my third accident and third trip to the hospital, it's been sitting around. I moved to Tennessee and it sat around some more. I finally got around to getting it on the road and took it out for a couple of spins.
The thrill was gone and I realized, I'm no longer bulletproof !
