We chose Heidi for the newest addition to our GSD family.

Heidi is a German girl name. The meaning of the name is `Noble, Kind`.

We thought this name was just perfect for her.

I used Ares - The greek god of war, as opposed to Aires, the astrological sign.

I also thought of Chase, Shultz, Neo, and Jet, but Ares won out.
