I'll hold doors for people
Say excuse me
If someone drops something I'll help them pick it up

um....it really just depends. If someone looks like they really need help if I can help them I will. Saw a women trying to get a baby stroller up a few stairs once..I know how that goes so I picked up one end for her while she got the other.

I always say my please and thank you's to absolutely everyone. Pretty much excessively. I probably annoy waiters and waitresses for thanking them for every little tiny thing they do.

I say 'excuse me' or 'pardon me' when trying to get by people.

I say, 'Pardon?' or 'Sorry?' when I have heard someone incorrectly instead of 'What?'.

I pretty much compulsively apologize for everything, but that's a canadian thing. If one person bumps into another, both will tend to say sorry.

I hold doors open for everyone, and run up and open doors for people who look like they may have difficulties opening it.

One kind of politeness I do not like is when people get to a 4 way stop and even though one person should clearly go first, they wave other people to go ahead. That usually ends up in a waving match until someone goes, followed by confusion after because people don't know when it's their turn now. Yesterday my mom and I sat at a 4 way stop for a full minute watching the first and second person waving at each other trying to get the other person to go, until finally the fourth person in line just went and then it was chaos afterwards.

I flash my lights sometimes to warn others there is a cop ahead.

I return my buggy to the buggy shed.

I leave coupons by products in the store that I don't plan on using.

I also leave a printout of the dangers of Hartz products....by the Hartz flea meds. (it bugs my hubby when i do that) I have about 50 printouts in my purse.

We always try to help people that are struggling. If we see somebody broke down on the side of the road....my hubby usually always stops to try to help them. People always strugle on our road during the winter. We help them.

If I'm at a store checkout and have a bunch of stuff, and someone comes up behind me with just one or two items, I let them go ahead of me.

I hold doors.

I say "excuse me" or "pardon me" when I need to get past someone at the store.

I say "hello" to cashiers and wish them a nice day after checking out.

I talk to strangers if we're all waiting in line for a long time or are in a situation where we're in each other's company for a while ... like on public transportation.

If someone drops something and needs help picking it up, I'll pick it up.

I'm on time ... or even a little early. It bugs me to no end when people don't think highly enough of someone (or their job) to be on time. I think it's extremely rude. If I am going to be late, or something has come up and I can't make it, I call and let people know. I think it's rude to be late, but even ruder to be late without letting people know you're going to be late. A phone call won't kill you. Heck, even a text message will do.
