What...that's so weird. I think some 'modifications' to factory cars are pretty nice and/or cool, but things like that - I just don't get it? Maybe I'm missing something...

Have you seen anti-spinners? I thought those were cool until I was going through a green light, saw a car coming to a stop with anti-spinner wheels, thought his wheels were all locked, and slammed on the brakes... i think they are illegal now. Probably for that reason

I don't care what people drive as long as they aren't aggressively acting stupid. I love looking at cars/trucks while I commute...it would be very boring to see the same ol minivans on the highway(like mine)
I've always been interested in cars and the make/model identification. Yesterday this dude came passing me on the left during a merge, I was already doing 80(couldn't get over due to traffic), he ran out of road and hit the rumblestrip. As he passed me in the squished shoulder, he was on his cell and clearly should have just merged behind me. People like that, I don't mind seeing going into a ditch or getting pulled over. He was driving an Avalon with Illinois plates, FWIW. That is one of my gripes, the people who travel my local freeway are usually from out of state, and those are the ones that are speeding along at 90 or tail-gaiting/lane changing nonstop. I live 1/2 way between Chicago and Detroit, so get it both ways. |

I called the cops on a very bad driver the other day. I usually don't, but this one almost hit me after running a stop sign, then ran the next stop sign, then made a right on red (without stopping or slowing) and then merged, cutting another car off. That's when I hit "speaker" on my cell and called 911 and gave them his plate. People like that need to be off the road. I like a good MVA as much as the next EMT (let's face it, they're more interesting than calls to the old folks' home), but drivers like that just need to be stopped before they hurt an innocent person. |
