I went for my honeymoon this past June. I absolutely love the city and plan to go back next summer. We were only in Paris for 5 days, so couldn't do/see everything. Some of my favorite things were the cruise down the Seine, the Catacombs, the Jardin du Luxembourg, the cafes, and anywhere near the river where you can sit down at sunset with some wine and cheese.
I stayed near rue Montorguiel- a pedestrian (and deliveries) only area. It was very local- no hotels or anything and on Sundays (I believe it was Sunday), there is a farmer's market just around the block. I'm so jealous you'll be there for a month! Have a great time!
