Default Animal cops miami

Has anyone ever seen this show on animal planet? I was watching an episode where there were 2 loose gsds. 1 male very aggressive biting the catch pole, snarling, lunging trying to get this lady. They took them back to the shelter and a guy claims he is their trainer. they release the male and female to him. He claims he rents out guard dogs. The male was aggressive towards him as well. They show him later "training" the dog. But the dog is wearing a muzzle for OB. The guy said it was for his own protection. Is that normal?

The next call was for a dog bite. The guy had a large rottie and as he was entering the vet he bit a lady and broke the skin. He tells a/c that he's had the dog 7 years and he IS a 1 man dog. So the officer goes oh he was just protecting you. Made sure the rabies was utd and let the man on his way not charging him for the bite. Is that normal?

A man had a loose dog. He told the officer the dog wouldn't go inside e wants to be outside. It was a chow. The officer told the Man put him on a chain, time him up, put him on a leash or put him inside. The officer sat and watched this guy drag the dog out from under a car and literally dragged the dog inside and it kinda whined. Is that okay and by considered abuse? The dog had no collar on so te guy grabbed why was available.
Are any of these normal practices?

I'm watching it now. That Chow looked like he'd rather go to Animal Control than with the owner!

I was surprised she euthanized the stray dog in the vehicle. Here, dogs are held 5 days (even without ID) to give the owners a chance to find them.

I thought that was odd she uth. The pup too. I know they say black colored dogs don't get adopted, but the pup was cute and looked adoptable, besides the leg. I'd thought she would have atleast waited till she got back to animal control

And it had a harness and a leash. I know it didn't have tags but my dogs have had their tags ripped off just playing in our yard before. And it's not a crime to not microchip your pet either. I'm glad here they have to hold an animal for 5 days.

I'm surprised Animal Cops Miami is still in production. I watched it years ago and thought it was the worst of ALL the Animal Cops shows. Seemed like a lot of backward thinking and just plain wrong way of doing things. I remember an episode where a rottie had bitten one of the officers. The officer did not want the dog to be PTS. The dog was sent to a trainer for rehab. The rottie was brought back after training. Darned if he didn't bite the SAME officer again. Yep a real bunch of Einsteins in Miami. JMO!

I have this show recording at home, am I going to watch it and get pissed off?

I think the Detroit, MI one said that they always uth pitbulls because they are banned there, is that the Detroit one or was that another location? Anyways it used to make my mom and I so angry, they would put puppies to sleep just because of their breed!

We have a humane society that is nonkill and and our ac will keep for atleast a month before I see dogs disappear from the website. My dog is chipped by my mom won't because she says it will hurt her doxies. I realize ppl should keep an eye on their animals but stuff happens and I know I'd be upset if impostor my dog looked for and looked until I found out it was put down before going to the shelter. Especially knowing I would have paid For the surgery

That's on right now (I'm home sick). He walked into the kennel with TWO Rotts that were junk yard guard dogs and started petting one on the head...

Sometimes animal control can't even FIND the microchip properly! When my dog escaped animal control picked him up and scanned him for his microchip in the vehicle and didn't find it. When they brought him back to the shelter the people there scanned him more thoroughly and they found it.
