My uncle, who lives a few miles north of the Arctic Circle, said that they had a heat up!! It got up to -49. He thought maybe it had gotten up into the -20's, but it wasn't quite that warm.

And yes those are the sorts of words he used.

I bet they aren't pulling any ticks off dogs out there.
I admit I am enjoying these mild temps, but last night I found a tick on Lakota grrrrrrr! I always felt safe from ticks in January, guess not.

Whoah, now that's cold! It was 64 degrees here yesterday and supposed to be 65 today. I'll take this weather over that any day, LOL!
