Thumbs down Oh how I wish there were doggie activities in Northern Ontario!

I live in Northern Ontario(Sudbury) and the are no clubs or sports to join! Beside obedience classes and our ckc organization witch is all about hunting classes there is nothing else to join. I wish we had something else fun to do with Molly other than fishing, hiking, boating. It would be fun to have a hobby on the week nights after work. It is nice to live in a area surrounded by bush, mountains, and literally thousands of lakes but we lack many resources!

Maybe you can get with your CKC organization and see if you can have some informal group training. Rent the building?
In my area there was a CL ad for people to hike with on a nature trail here, it snowballed for them and they started doing more formal training along with their fun outings.
Once you get others interested, then maybe forming an agility, treibball or flyball group may happen?

1>>>> go to the next level of OB.

2>>>> fishing, hiking and boating sounds like a blast
to me especially with your dog.

3>>>> get creative and come up with something
to do.
