Why GSD people are awesome...and a lesson in gratitude
I've been on here a lot lately, and am floored by those of us who share their most personal battles and receive unconditional love and support from essential strangers... we may not all always get along but I just wanted to share my gratitude
 It's nice to be "around" people who don't think I'm crazy for being obsessed with my dog  With all the nasty news you hear about cruelty and nastiness day to day, it's so heart warming to see the kindness that people can show. Anyways, this leads me into my next train of thought-- someone paid for my coffee today at Dunkin' Donuts. No idea who it was-- I pulled up to the drive through window, and they said that the gentleman in front of me had paid for my order-- that he was a regular customer often paid for the people in line behind him's food. So thanks, guy in the gray Ford Taurus. I like the idea of paying it forward... |

That was nice of him!!! I usually try to pay for an officer's lunch or something like that as a thank you for what they do.

I havent been around here alot lately either, but I have had the greatest support from these folks on this site. I haven't been on due to extreme life changing stuff...I got the best support - right here. I emailed my breeder, she said "you still have what is important. Family." This site is a very important extended family. My dog, FAMILY. Just getting back on my feet. My GSD Axel got packed in the trailer, when my pick up blew up, and had no room for him in the little pick up we had to borrow. We are all together now...life happens. This site lends alot to the GSD folks...

I would have to agree with you there. I find comfort in talking about some personal issues on here. First off I know I wont be judged.and its nice to hear everyone opinons. Second we all carry the same passion, the love for the GSD breed. This just comforts me and allows me just open up. I like the idea of paying it forward!
 I recently had a personal issue I brought the forum and everyone reached out to me. It was up lifting when I was really feeling down. I'm very greatful for all the thoughts and prayers.
