I have used both gas and electric stoves my entire life. I never had an issue cleaning them, so when we bought this house I didn't think much of the stove. Now it bothers me almost every day. Unlike my other stoves, this one is a magnet for crumbs and grease. Within two days of cleaning it it looks like a pig stye! I have tried all the cleaning products in my house, including stuff that's supposed to get hardened food off tile, and nothing has worked.
Here is a picture of the stove top after spending 30 minutes vigorously scrubbing it: ![]() Those grease stains? They've been there for a year now. I can't get rid of them. It's bothering the heck out of me and I want to get rid of them. The rest of the stove is stainless steel. Can anybody help me out with cleaning this thing once and for all?

I bought a used motorhome and was convinced the previous owners fried fish every night in that little kitchen. Easy off oven cleaner allowed to sit over night made it look brand new. Now I keep the stuff in our new motorhome for that very reason.

Try using some white vinegar. It works on a lot of surfaces. I have a friend who uses it on just about everything.

That's just like my stove. I use either an sos pad or baking soda which I sprinkle on first and then spray with cleaner. There is also a powdered product that comes in a can called Bartenders Friend that works well.

Vinegar, Baking Soda and a brillo pad. Allow the vinegar and baking soda to do it's bubbly reaction thing. Let it sit for a few minutes. Then scrub it off. You might have to do a couple treatments, but it worked for me and my woeful excuse for a stovetop!
