I"m sorry...that bus driver should have stopped and called the police if he couldn't stop the fight. WTH...he continued driving to the school when the fight broke out again? The first time he stopped, he didn't go back to check the girl or bring her up front so she was safe?

Between bad parents raising bad kids and school employees being worthless...I am so very glad my last one is 16 and only has two years left. My son, when he was in 7th grade, was punched in the head by an upper classman and knocked unconscious. The school did not believe that he was knocked out because some other kid said said he had his head down so he must have been crying and they did nothing to the kid that punched him (even though he admitted doing so) because they felt he had the "potential to be a good kid" WTF?? What about my kid?

They felt he had the potential to be a good kid? The way to ensure that is teaching them there are consequences for bad behavior. That ticks me off.

Doesn't leave you with a whole lot of confidence in admin...that's for sure. Called the state police and they refused to come to the hospital. The officer talked to son on the phone and told him that it would just be worse if he did anything about it. The whole deal was messed up. Needless to say...I"m not to cooperative with the school. As far as the SP...I don't know what that guy was thinking talking to a a 12 year old and not the parent. Guess I should have gone to the police station and asked to talk to a different officer.

Sure hope this girl is going to be ok.

I KNOW!!! What do you even say to something like that? So when DS starting taking care of issues on his own...I let him. And then told the school if they would handle it, he wouldn't have to.

i do hear good things about kids every once in a great while, but truthfully, not very often. most of the time anymore i just don't want to know what's going on with the younger generation(s) or in the world in general, and am glad i'm old and don't have any kids. just want to love and care for my dogs. such horrible stuff goin' on.

jeez, aren't i just a ray of sunshine this mornin', lolol...
