My mom had it done for some chin hairs about 20 years ago. I don't know if it hurt, but I went along with her for one appointment and it didn't look like it hurt at all. She liked the results she got.

I got a Groupon for $99 for 6 sessions for bikini line. I bought it and I heard the pain when it is happening is totally bearable and that as soon as it's over, it doesn't hurt anymore. True? Is it truly permanent or semi-permanent? I know everyone has different experiences but that's what I am wanting to hear Thanks so far!

Nothing is permanent. But I have very coarse hair, what comes back is much softer and lighter.
