Unhappy iphone pictures upside down

Does anyone else that uses iphone have this problem? I took some pictures with my iphone4 and sent them thru the e-mail on the phone and when people received them they where upside down. Bummer.

Is it possible you held the iPhone upside down when you took the pictures? I haven't had that problem yet but I haven't emailed a lot of them either.

Mine do that too. I have the 3Gs and now the 4s....I am sure it's operator error not a phone issue. I am probably holding it wrong

The iphone changes the screen to show anything "right side up" to the person using the phone, regardless of which direction you are holding the phone.

So if you hold the phone upside down and take a picture, it might be registering that as "upside down." But with that said, I just tested my iphone4 and took it when the camera was technically upside down. When I went and reviewed the photo taken, it turned it back and forth when I turned the phone, so I have no idea how it would send it.

If you are going to download or send pics or video via an iPhone make sure your "button" is to the right when you take them if holding it sideways.
