We are waiting on my brother to get home to do our immediate family gifts (he just got back to the US from Iraq, but is up north for 2 weeks at the base to do classes on how to acclimate back into society after being in a war zone for a year). But, the SO and I did exchange ours and of course Zira got all hers! It was the only way to keep her out of the kids stuff! The best gift our family got was my brother home safe. Our family doesn't spend a lot on Christmas anymore... just enjoy the company since we rarely have everyone under one roof. The kids get their stuff though, so do the animals. We enjoy spending the money on them.

From Will, I got new Oakley Sunglasses, 3 little bracelets (2 new and my old one fixed for me!), and a beautiful necklace that is 14k white gold with white and black diamonds... I absolutely love it! Most gorgeous thing I've ever had! He's so good to me...

Zira was extremely spoiled for her first Christmas!! She got a new kong bed for the SO's house, many different treats, a huge nylabone, New kong stick, and kong squeaky tennis ball, treat (mind game) ball, stuffing-less dragon, huge fuzzy stuffed dog (the long toy thing at Petsmart), new stuffing-less raccoon, raccoon water bottle toy, and some other small things..... geez!!

(No pictures of Zira's loot as she is not staying still long enough for my phone to focus on any of her toys! lol! She has a bad case of the zoomies!!!! and she doesn't want me to touch any of them! Way too many things for Zira's mind to focus on!)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and soon a wonderful new year!!

i got a box of white wine?? and 2 ov-gloves--I don't exchange gifts with anyone but my children and grandchildren--HOWEVER my chihuahua surprised me with a "pile" in the middle of the living room floor and my Sibi accentuated that with a big puddle of pee! What's up with that girls?? Sib has NEVER gone in the house--not for the year I have had her...Anyhow,,boy is my dad pissed off...Here we go again with the "get rid of the dogs routine"

I got a bunch of clothes, perfume, necklace, socks, scarf and my parents bought me a new laptop a few months ago.

BUT... the most beautiful and precious thing that I got was a Christmas ornament from my parents.

It is made of glass and gold of an Angel with my late Grandpa's name and birth/death date on it. My grandpa basically raised me and passed this past spring so this was just something to spring the tears free.. It will forever be with me.

The dogs also got a bunch of fun toys and treats from my parents and I. The cats got a brand new custom made cat tree with real branches/trunks made that will be ready in February and my parents got them some fun toys and treats too.

Very good Christmas even though this one is kinda sad.
