Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate the Festival of Lights.
Had an amazing lamb dinner and home made doughnuts--yum!! Kids are playing the dreidel game now. So much fun!! May the warmth and glow of each candle you light make your heart and home happy and your Hanukkah bright.

Thank you Daisy&Lucky's Mom. Happy Hanukkah or Holidays to you, too. I think I ate too many doughnuts yesterday LOL. Still feel stuffed. Wishing you and Greg a great 2012.

Happy Channukah!! I'm celebrating "alone" this year as the bf celebrates Christmas and family is far away... It's wonderful to know others here are celebrating! Chag Sameach!

We don't celebrate either but for those who do, I hope it's wonderful for you all!

My heritage includes hebrew, but we don't actually celebrate - except to do all the neighboring city (did before DD) and our own light displays in the parks. We try to end with Niagara - weather permitting.

Shalom, Packman and Chag Sameach to you, too Diana B. So sorry to hear you are celebrating alone.
Thanks WhiteShepherds. That is so nice of you. Ozzymama, I love the public Menorah displays. I am glad they allow them in Canada. Haven't really seen any around here but I imagine they display them in some parks in KS. Love, love, love this time of the year. Happy people, great food and the various light displays are so beautiful. Helps to forget for a few days the crappiness life has dished out throughout the year.
