Default Hoarding Situation, not GSD

Hoarding Situation in FP Land

This is a general warning, some of the following pictures and descriptions may be disturbing to some viewers. This is Ida Scoop reporting from ICU News. Our story today comes from an unlikely source, and shows that it seems no place is immune from the depravity of our current times.

Police called in the park rangers to help with the situation as there has never been animal control in FP land. "Sure dogs have been lost, but generally when they are recovered, their owners are happy to have them back" claims FP Mayor Strongwind. "We have never had a situation like this before", said Officer O'Nabb from FP PD, "we have never had any issue with dogs or animals really, we were quite unprepared for what we found, and not entirely sure how we will deal with it."

No one would have guessed the scope of the issue when approaching the front of the Loon residence:

Neighbors have complained before about dogs barking, but Mr. Loon managed to quiet his animals after being called on it. Neighbors were again concerned when it seemed the dogs in the front were not receiving water and food. They called police, and the police arrived to find several kennels in the front yard, that seemed cared for, but the lack of water was enough to ask for access to the rest of the property. What they found was shocking:

Dogs three and four to a pen, even breds mixed together, looking to create designer dogs we expect:

And and old barn with kennels stacked:

All told there were 26 live dogs, 13 chickens (in the house) an elderly horse, three pigs, and a cow. It seemed the horse had been kept in the dark barn with kennels of puppies for a long time. His legs were bowed and weak and filthy. The cow seemed to be left to forage for herself amongst piles of junk.

The house may be condemned at this point. Clean-up is scheduled to start later this evening, when supplies and volunteers can be gathered.

"It was very disturbing" said Mr. Whitetail of the Forestry department. "He even had dogs in the loft, and the only access to the loft was a ladder."

Reporters asked the Mayor if they were going to create some animal control laws to ensure that this sort of thing could be prevented in the future. Mayor Strongwind said that he is not ruling that out, but his initial feeling is that Mr. Loon is in need of some mental health services, and would hesitate to enact legislation over an isolated incident.

Donations to help treat and care for the remaining dogs, and other animals as well as foster homes are needed. If anyone is willing to donate to the project or help with the cleanup or foster an animal, please contact Mr. Whitetail or myself, Ida Scoop.

I'm afraid we have a similar situation, but the animals are sea turtles. Poor things are left to rumage around a teenaged girls room...amongst piles of clothing and discarded school papers. I believe the sea turtles may have had to resort to eating lip gloss and make-up. :P

Quickly, somebody contact a rescue and the news, file a report with the police and animal control.

Ah we see this kind of thing all too often in homes all across America.
I've even seen it going on in churches

I believe there is a purple dinosaur that works tirelessly to "clean up" situations like this.

I did actually get all my little people cleaned last night. It is somewhat of a hoarding situation. I currently have 5 brown tudor style houses, 1 blue house, 1 A-Frame, 1 Neighborhood house, 2 castles, 1 house boat, 2 sleeper campers (bunks over the the cab of the truck) 1 pop out camper, 1 old wooden pull along camper, 1 house boat, 1 rail road, and 1 barn with 2 silos. Plus hundreds of people, dogs, animals, furniture, vehicles, etc, etc, etc.

So much for putting away childish things.
