My DH saw a man dump 5 puppies at the truck stop!

My husband was at a truck stop in Minnesota and observed a man drive up (right in the semi truck parking) and dump 5 puppies right there in between the semi's and then just drive off. How can a person be so cruel-it is so cold right now and just to dump those little pups like that? The puppies looked like they were rott mixes, they had very big paws and were beautiful pups.

My DH fed the puppies (they were very hungry) and gave them some water and called the police. They took the pups to a rescue-but seriously? How could a person be so heartless????

I'll bet he was figuring truck drivers would pick them up and keep them. Actually they probably would....if the poor pups didn't get run over in the lot, anyway.

This is just heartbreaking.

I hope those pups find a much more loving home.

Glad that your other half was there to keep them from being road kill, and that they will find a forever and loving home and not end up having to stay too long at the rescue.
