Very Happy News

My son got admitted to the University of Washington today! I'm so proud of him. He worked really hard for this.He's a veteran and when he came home, he enrolled in community college and got his grades up.

The expression on his face when he got the Welcome letter was wonderful. I am so happy for him! We dropped him off at work and ran down to the University and got him sweatshirts, t-shirts, and I got a UW Mom coffee mug!
We're picking him up after work and surprising him with these gifts.

Thank goodness for the G.I Bill!

Hooray! That's awesome news. Community college is such a great idea; I did that too when I was trying to get into University of Texas. I still remember the feeling when that acceptance letter came in. Tell him congratulations and good luck!

Seriously, kudos. U of W is an EXCELLENT school and quite difficult to get into anymore.
