Default post your first thread

For fun I went back to my first thread and laugh at the inexperience I had with Gsd's thinking Molly was aggressive at 14weeks!
If you have a minute find your first thread and post it!

Growling
Hello,

We have a 14 week old puppy who is the friendliest little creature (so far). We have been putting our hands in her bowl and rubbing her face regularly while she eats and we never had any problems. Today, we decided to give her a treat, kibbles mixed with canned food, and she growled at the cat when he came to smell. Then growled at us when we tried to rub her (tried twice). We took her bowl away and claimed it as our own. Although, we are really unsure of what proper correction should be made so she will not growl at us while eating. Anyone got good ideas that worked!

I have been on here since 2001, and thankfully can't see those posts anymore.

But I can look back to just 2 years ago, and see how much I have learned.

His lower eyelids still do that a little when he is tired.

Hello from West Virginia
Ace my 4.5 month old gsd has started getting droopy lower eyelids at times. He has not lost any baby teeth if that has anything to do with it. As a first time gsd owner is this normal or should I be worried. He was just at the vet last week and all was ok.

I don't remember my first thread, but I do remember some of my first posts. I thought I was sooo smart and started arguing with people who knew far more than I. LOL!

Here is mine. Reading through it, it brought back all the memories of how stressed out I was that day about Brutus' surgery. And I was missing him something terrible.Neutering nightmare.

I don't think I can look back that far. Would be interesting to see though.

I can't go back that far either........I know my first picture was puppy Cyra in 2003 standing on a trampoline--did not find that but found a 2006 picture of Grim, Toby and Cyra. Now Cyra's whole face is pretty white and Grim is gray around the muzzle and Toby has departed for the Rainbow bridge with hemangiosarcoma in 2008.

I went to "find all threads by user" and was able to go back to my first day here. My first two threads were about skijoring and didn't have a single response. Sad! Lol! I posted similar threads not long ago and got a few responses.. so I guess I've gotten a bit more popular.

I don't think I was too terribly embarrassing in the beginning... But this wasn't the first forum I joined and I so I had already learned quite a bit before I signed up here.
