Default The Art Thread

So I've been looking around these forums for any art threads, but noticed there really aren't that many - and definitely not one started to showcase the members' artworks.

So I'm making one

I want to see your art! Show me your poems, photography, paintings, sculptures, writings - whatever art you have! It doesn't have to be GSD or even dog related, just so long as it isn't vulgar or BAD and abides by the rules.

Yay!

Well, here are some of mine!

This is a lot of my old stuff (with the exception of one of these that I did last year), and looking at these really makes me want to get back to drawing.

I love all your horses! You're very good.
Would you happen to be a fan of Spirit? That top pic looks a little like that style.

I like how the last one has a nice range of tones, good darks/contrast. I think the third one's coming along very nicely!

I am, actually That was a 'fanart' contest entry for a contest on DeviantArt once, in a Spirit: SOTC group. And thank you! I really want to start drawing my dogs in the realistic style, too. I haven't drawn in so long 0__0

I remember your thread on decorating your home. I think you should mat and frame of these. I love the black and white horse ones, are they pencil? I really like to use plain pencil, plus I have some nice watercolor pencils from Germany that are fun to experiment with.

Thanks I might do that! Yes, they are just pencil. I want to start experimenting with some nicer sketching pencils, but just haven't had the time or motivation. Maybe I'll work on a sketch of Alex tomorrow?

I'd love to see some of your work, too! I bet those watercolor pencils from Germany make some beautiful works.

Lately all I've done is make my own greeting cards for people. I buy the blank cards and envelopes at Hobby Lobby. It's fun and I can personalize to what people are really interested in. Plus I can do them in the evening while watching TV, they're small and quick..

Those above artworks are amazing!
I am an amateur, but I love drawing so much.
The below is mostly from this year. My art from last year looks bad compared to these. (And really bad compared to others' art. XD)

(The above pic is my fursona dressed like me.)

I dabble a bit in photography, but the photos are too large to post here, apparently. (As is any of my most recent artwork, since they were done with Photoshop, which saves files in large sizes.) If anyone does want to see it, I have my photography and other art posted on my deviantART account. It's listed as my homepage here.
