Here it is, it is 24 pages long. There was another just a few pages when she went to step-down.
Very worried I do not know if I did the link right. The baby was born at 26 weeks along, had brain bleeds, stopped breathing and my sister came in her oxygen was down to 20, and she had to revive her, she has had a very rough start, but she is over seven pounds now -- due end of June, it is really nice that she is home now, but my sister is going to keep her under wraps because even a cold can make her super sick, even kill her. Her lungs will not be up to par until age two is the thinking.

My niece was born prematurely and had some of Gwen's problems only not as severe. The drs predicted mental retardation, deafness and chronic lung problems. Katrina is now a 23 yr old perfectly normal young woman without any of those problems. She does however have a condition that leaves her with extremely cold extremities no matter what the temps and has had suffered from depression, but the depression may have happened regardless of her start in life, who knows. I'm so happy that baby G is doing well and hope she does as well as my niece has.

I thought I would update this. Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers. Little Gwen celebrated her first birthday Saturday. She has been going to speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy since they brought her home in June. So far she has not had to go back to the hospital, which is awesome. She has some issues with her right side, but the therapy is working. And they took her off the blood pressure medicine.
So in all, it is awesome.

I followed the original thread silently, not sure of the words that would bring comfort to your family. So glad that she's doing well! Please keep us updated.

Howdy, all.
Little Gwennie is walking good now. She is talking. The Neuro Dr. says she is a star. Today she was at my house with her sis saying hi to Hepzibah, Jenna, and Babsy, She is such a little miracle, smart, beautiful. She still goes to PT and OT, but the OT has been downgraded. And while she has a few spots on her leg-muscles that don't relax good, they do not want to medicate, either orally or into the muscle. She may walk with a limp, or she may be able to clean this up completely. She is sharp as a tack though, and we all love and appreciate her so much. My sister is still keeping her under wraps so she can't come to Christmas this year. But we already have plans for all the stuff we will do with her after she turns two.
