About to get my SUSHI on! For my birthday dinner on Thursday, I realllllllyyy wanted sushi, but no one in my family likes it, so I decided elsewhere. Now, a friend is taking me out for a belated bday lunch of my favorite food ever :-D

I just realized that I have no idea how to respond when a cop comes to the door questioning me about illegal activity at my home. :O

Half of me was like "I have nothing to hide, I should cooperate" and the other half was like "WTF I didn't do anything wrong, get off of my porch!" and a third half (lol) was like "What if they're setting me up to cooperate and are really going to have a problem with what I'm saying!?"

All ended well. They just searched half of my house and loved on my pit bull. lol

It was super awkward. They said after questioning me for a while on the porch that they had a tip that heroin (heroine? I don't even know how to spell it!) was being used or sold or something at this address.

At one point I thought they were going to draw their guns because they both asked a question and I was answering "Yes" to the first question as I processed the other one asking "Do you know why someone would have reason to believe there was heroin here?" Lol. They both went for their guns as I corrected myself. What terrible timing. One had a GSD though and we talked about them while the other went through all my stuff. I cooperated, lol.

I would ask who reported this. It is illegal to make false claims like that. Jail time worth illegal.

And the ongoing Bank Unprofessionalism Saga....

My son, 21 yrs old, is a pipeliner. They make more money than any 21 yr old has a right to even think about making....so has a significant bank account.

He went in to make a deposit at the same branch we had problems with this week and the teller, who he described as a "Money grubbing B....." was all but cooing over his accounts "ohhhh...that nice" "ohh that one's nice too"

I don't even have the words.....

I didn't even think to ask. :/ I got the officer's name and number so I could always call. But we had a sketchy roommate living here last fall that I kicked out at the end of December and I know her boyfriend used to be involved in sketchy **** with her and he was here occasionally. I told them about him and gave them her name, and they agreed it could have easily been that situation. So it might have been a real tip, just not about us!

Danielle, that is freaky. I'd request charges be filed against the person filing a false claim.

Michelle, Sounds like it may be time to change banks. Theres a serious problem with that one.
