Scalded my thigh with hot water. I was sitting in bed watching tv and trying to pour hot water into my cup at the same time, and instead of the spout from the kettle being over my cup it was directly over my leg. I didn't notice and poured the water all over the top of my bare thigh. I can't believe how much this hurts. Burns suck. I'm just watching out for blisters and hoping that I don't have to go to a doctor.
But at least now I have a pretty convenient excuse not to see my inlaws on saturday heheheeee. |

Mini rant: Finding rescue for a non "pet" GSD is almost darn near impossible. This is a good dog but he's not the lay around, get along with everyone GSD that rescues typically prefer to deal with.
Observation: The whole world is pregnant and due this summer. I think there are a dozen people on my fb that are due between June-Aug and the Aug ones have just started announcing.

Yayyyy! It sounds like my brother is willing to help me play with the gas lines in the house!
![]() In other words, he's helping me to shut everything off, move the range in the kitchen, drill a hole through the tile in the kitchen, remove a section of the gas line, add a connection to run through the floor in the new spot, get it all hooked up, and then hope we don't blow ourselves up in the process! ![]() And by "help" I mean that he'll do everything and I'll be the assistant. At least with all of my working out I'm able to move heavy objects, so I'm not completely useless. And THEN...my kitchen will be ready for the people to get the new refrigerator installed where I ultimately want it to go. Yay!

Last night Mike was sitting in his wheel chair in the kitchen. Hondo was sitting in front of him while Mike was rubbing on his head. Lonestar, who has always been able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, decided he wanted to get on Mike's lap, so in a single bound cleared Hondo and hit Mike with enough momentum to send the chair flying backwards into the wall.
Realizing his mistake, Lonestar quickly jumped away to clear Mike & Hondo and ended up on my kitchen table. On my kitchen table. Seriously. Of course that was the moment I came into the kitchen (hearing the loud thump in the kitchen) and see Lonestar standing on my kitchen table with Mike and Hondo staring at me. I live in a zoo.
