One of Ky's greatest friends is Rossi ... a little white fluffy dog (poodle mix) ... who weighs about 10 pounds ... they grew up together ... and they're from NB ... they LOVE it here! The job market sucks big time, and if you're not bilingual ... don't move to QC ... Pauline Marois is having a field day in "her" province!

So after a lot of different methods and trying all kinds of things with Gus in regards to walking on a leash, I broke down and bought a prong. I barely even had to use it. A quick few pulls and he was good to go. Walked wonderfully. I know a LOT of you don't believe in prongs, but I really had no other option. I have read thread after thread and tried everything. Even the trainer I use said this would be my best bet after trying all the things I did. I am so excited I'm making a good step towards being able to do a lot of walking with my dog. I need it, and he really deserves it!
Its rough not being able to walk him far and trying to wear him out in a 900 sq ft house.. |

![]() I was talking to my husband about wanting to move to Canada or someplace like New Hampshire. I love many things about SoCal but I'd give my right arm to live in the country somewhere where my dogs can run and I can have chickens, horsies and a jersey cow. Probably never going to happen though. *cries in the corner*

Fully bilingual but I'm versed in NB French so it doesn't carry much stock outside our province. I went to University in Sherbrooke and Montreal, still not sure why I moved home. Job markets are bleak everywhere, I'm trying to pull some connections get into the gov't and transfer where I want, it's sad that's the only way to get your foot in the door.
The other option is to write my LSATs and become a student again, so much to think about.

Just got back a bit ago from taking Ollie on his first hike... It was so cute both he and I fell asleep on the drive home, he was sprawled out in my lap the entire time.

Gaia Bear - if you're young (under 50) go back to school! LOL ... My sister's a partner in a law firm, and she had NO problems getting a job!
Carrie Sue ... yeah, we don't have the population you guys have ... probably b/c it's too freaking cold! Glad you guys had such a great hike!
