I think I need to be eating more. I keep waking up absolutely STARVING, which makes working out tough. I even had a filling dinner last night - brown rice, black beans, corn, and spices. Buuuut my food the rest of the day? Not substantial enough I suppose.

Darn workouts. They make me way too hungry. This whole being healthy thing can be such a pain. Unfortunately, just forgetting one night of my heart meds had my heart rate up way higher than usual, so I have to keep at it. I'm still broken. Booooo. I'm still waiting for that point where I "grow out of it" like they THINK I will. No guarantee. Ugh. Hopefully soon. Stupid hummingbird heart rate.

Lonestar has learned to open my sliding glass door. I wouldn't mind so much if he'd learn to shut it again. I'd never have to get off the couch.

Here in Texas, it was 81 yesterday & the day before! This morning is a chilly 35!!

our high yesterday was 68-70 and it dropped down to 30 last night.

The wind blew all of my furniture off my patio. Including wooden rocking chairs! I had dog kennels all over my front yard. It was crazy.

The good thing is the wind is blowing our dead limbs off of our oak trees. Hubby wasn't looking forward into getting up into those trees to clean them out. Now we'll get to have a large fire for New Years! If they lift the burn ban, that is.

I grew up around police officers (several close family friends, etc) and I think I could be very happy as a k9 handler.

I wonder sometimes if I'm too "soft" to be a cop though...

I asked a friend who is a cop now, about K9 handling. he said it basically is an experienced LEO that is given the opportunity to be K9 unit, not just randoms who are really good with dogs. Which kind of struck me as strange, if someone is really good with dogs, why not? Well, maybe you can do mercenary K9 work? I know many people who certify their dogs to find narcotics, weapons, bombs will do interim work on cruise liners, airports, etc, same with SAR just read about all then non professional SAR dogs on here!

I was considering a complete career change after I started working with this dog... fantasizing working with a real K9 dog

I heard the wind blowing like crazy! I forgot I had a blanket on our patio, along with 4 or 5 of Remy's chews/toys, I looked this morning, and the blanket and ALL of her toys had been blown to the ground 2 stories below!! Crazy. I started my truck this morning, and as I started driving, I swear, a thousand leaves started dancing & flying out the bed of the truck!!
