RANTING!
On FB there is a page that many of us see as it has 1000's of 'likes'
This fb page uses photo's from everywhere, everyone and places their watermark over them. Exploiting the people who proudly show their dogs off(but ignorant that the page ends up 'claiming' the photo as theirs)they give credit in the comments, but of course that gets lost in all the 'shares'. The one that set me off to writing this is the GSD holding himself against a door frame at the vet. That pic has been around for years and now this page has their name all over it.
This fb page rants themselves about others stealing photos yet are blatantly guilty of it...I just need to delete the page from my wall!
What is so frustrating is the person's ego is stroked(along with all her business ventures) by all the followers and they have no clue they are enabling her.

I can't stand that page or its owner and their ego. I remember back before they had a clue... and not entirely sure they have much better of one now.

I unliked that page ages ago. They don't have a firm grasp on the whole copyright infringement thing. And it's all about one ego.

What I hate is when my family members(who aren't GSD people) share the page's photos on my wall, because they think they are cute....I've let them know I am against sharing that page's contents.

I'm actually hoping some day someone steals one of my photos lol. I would take it as a compliment that they were worth stealing.

Nancy, I love your two different tracking styles. Hondo sounds like Rosa, slow and methodical and not rushing it. She actually will run a course faster than Niko, who is frantically racing all over following the scents but going so fast he runs right by it!

So I finally finished my sister's x-mas present ...

Here's the story ... went to an estate sale, saw 3 nesting tables in "rough" condition ... got the 3 of them for $10

Bought the paint to match her house ... picked the leaves and ferns from the yard ... bought the epoxy to varnish it ... and voila ...

We had some $4.99 Polly Pockets that were ringing up at $1,100!!! I've NEVER had that happen before.
The manager, my coworkers, a few customers and myself all got a kick out of it.

I put them behind the counter with a note saying, "These are ringing up just slightly overpriced."
