Baxter has an appointment at 6pm tonight. I voiced my concern about the staph infection (since that's exactly what it looks like), and let them know the topical ointment they provided last time is making no impact on them and asked that they give antibiotics serious consideration to help him heal before this starts getting worse.
We'll see how it goes. I hate implying that they don't know what they're doing. But I also hate feeling like Baxter isn't getting what he needs, regardless of how minor the issue is at this point. In happier news, he finally let me sleep through the whole night without checking in on me in the middle of the night! He's getting comfortable with the new sleeping arrangements, and even opted to go back into his crate a few times throughout the night - when he wasn't sleeping on the floor right next to my side of the bed.

So...Due to a recent project, I've been here late most evenings. My boss and I ran around last night making some last minute adjustments.
He emails me this morning and within the email he states he hopes I didn't have to work too hard when I got home (dogs & horses & family). I reply, "No worries. I thought ahead and prepared a crock pot." But I left out the 'r' in 'crock'. Poop.

Nancy, when you said you still needed someone to cook for the zombie apocalypse.... Don't you go and expect THAT kind of cooking from me.
