So I kind of blew up at my husband last night. And almost felt bad about it. How come when a man does something like in this case make dinner, he thinks that you need to throw him a party topped with a parade? I cook dinner 360 days a year. Then do the dishes. It's just a part of life. But last night hubby cooked a very good dinner, I was grateful because I got to go ride my horse. Then he started in on the "see how much time I saved you, see how great I am for making dinner" Now usually I would go along with it and praise him and stroke his ego. But last night he went on and on and on and on. I couldn't take it anymore. I lost it.

He probably won't make dinner anymore but come on. 20 minutes on how great you are because you made dinner?

Noooooooooooooooooo!

My jeans need to be retired. This makes me unbelievably sad, as it's annoyingly difficult to find pairs that are the right length (I'm short, but my legs are longish...so "short" sizes are often too short, while regular length is too long), and that acknowledge that some women have butts. It's next to impossible. Naturally, one of the few brands that fits well is having a sale. Great! Oh. Wait. That means they're all sold out in my size.

Guess I'll have to hunt around and see if I still have any other pairs floating around. Y'know. Ones that don't have and holes by the back pockets or in other inappropriate locations. Humph.

This is upcoming "**** Week" we have a lot of dogs boarding and the next four or five days will consist of lots of extra hours and Starbuck's Double Shots.....
Thursday night 147 dogs and RAIN.
