I had to get re-certified in First Aid. You know what they said? That heart attacks in young people have increased drastically within the past few years. You know what the #1 reason is? (I thought designer drugs.) Energy drinks.
Something to think about.....

I had several of these when I was in my early 20s and they turned out to be nothing. Sometimes abnormal paps just happen for no reason. I wouldn't worry until you have to. I know that is easier said than done.

A coke and a snicker's bar always worked well for me.

My niece is in labor at this moment, having her first child. They had to induce labor due to some minor complications. I'm on the phone speaking to my sister and I can hear my niece speaking to my sister (who is an ER nurse) "Mom! I can feel it! I thought the EPI meant I wouldn't have to! Mom! Get off the phone, I can feel it!" My sister says to me, "Ohhhh this is going to be a long day..."

![]() I swear there is 2, ones they give girls who they think might have to go c-section and one they can guarantee the baby can come natural. All my gf's with little, proper facing ready to go babies, their epidurals last until they push, my sister and I both had big babies, my SIL had twins and all of us the epidural failed. Induction is awful, never again, I think they assign the most sadistic nurses to run the pitocin too, just keep turning it up lady, it's not like I'm dying here in pain! Good luck to your niece, is this the first Great Niece or Nephew for you? |

I broke my back the year before I had my daughter so they said I couldn't have an Epi (this was many moons ago). I elected not to have any drugs because I was worried about the effects on the baby. From onset to baby in hubby's arms was a total of four (4) hours. So I really wasn't all that brave.
