Default How to post on petfinder?

Gina has finally broken up with her loser bf. Well he got tossed back into jail, but he's finally gone. Now his dog Lucy needs a home. Gina doesn't want her, so Lucy has just been turned loose until she either gets lost or someone gives her a home.

She's a fox terrier, or mix of one. She's 2 years old, unspayed, not housebroken, a bit skittish. But she is still really sweet.

I will post some photos in a few minutes. I've got to upload them from my phone so it's taking a while.

Petfinder is for rescues and shelters only, though there used to be free classifieds that were open to the public. Not sure if they are still there.

I agree with Rerun, Petfinder is for rescues/shelters only. I hope you're able to find a good home for her. It sounds like she's going to need a very experienced person since she's skittish and not housebroken at 2.

found the classified section and read the rules for how to post her there.

She is skittish and not housebroken because she has never lived in the house. She has made some progress towards being housebroken in the 3 weeks that they have owned her. Before that, she was just kept chained. I'm hoping that I can find someone to take her. Humane Society waiting list is months long and AC only takes strays. I can't bring her here because Rayden took an instant dislike to her.

There are classifieds on Petfinder, you can post there without being affiliated with rescue.

Please have the owner spay her before listing her on Petfinder (classifieds) or any other venue if not associated with a rescue group (who would spay before placing her.)

I can guarantee that she won't pay to have her spayed. She is feeding her, that is the most that she will do. One of my co-workers may be taking her, if she can get her husband to agree. Keep your fingers crossed for little Lucy!
