Smile German Shepherd novels?

I was wondering if there was a German Shepherd novel that would be teenager friendly. I was just wondering if there is one out there =)

Thanks,
Carrie

Cracker! The best dog in Vietnam by Kadohata.

I am not sure of the reading level, but it is very interesting and you learn alot about the the dogs in war. It also shows the reason why we love this breed so much.

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
is great, the author don't specifically say GSD in the book but it is as close as it gets.

lol I'm so glad you posted this. I read the reviews on Amazon and it sounds like a novel I'll enjoy so I downloaded it on my Kiindle. As soon as I finish the old lady mystery I'm reading I'll start it!!!
