I always call my dog(s) my pupper or puppers. They always say "puppy love" doesn't last long, and neither does the puppy stage- they almost grow before your eyes! So that's where my name comes from and how I love to look back when they were just itty bitty!

I usually use sk8rchik13ny...I used to be the only girl skateboarder in my town about 10 years ago,and everyone would refer to me as a skater chik..so that became my nickname.Even got custom plate for my car with sk8rchik.13 is my bday and ny obviously....

When I joined this board,I decided to create a name for my pup...Klause13, 13 my bday again. Not too creative, but didn't feel I could use my name for my boy!

Mine is easy - kennel name....

had horses - my mare (3rd generation) was Sheer Fantasy - her daughter (by Bonjour) was an H year - is Heir of Dreams....so I wanted to use Fantasy/Dream in the kennel name - Wolf is a no brainer. A friend who is from Germany and a vet did some translations for me and thus - Wolfstraum

Mine is easy, Kamahi is my first German Shepherd. When I created the account I didn't have Tosca, and now I just use "Kamahi" on other boards so I don't confuse anyone.

Love the Cherry pi username (but I'm a math geek)!

tintallie is a slight modification of the name Tintallë which is from a poem in the Lord of the Rings and the name means Star Kindler according to Tolkien. I used to run into the odd time where tintalle was taken so I added an i to change it when I was playing online role playing games, and I have been using the handle for 15 years!

I find it interesting how many of us play online rpg's ....and how we translate character names to user names!

my username is kelso. We had (my husband) a GSD before him, but he was my first pup and the reason I was searching out a forum...I needed HELP! hahah. So in a rush I just put in "kelso" thinking I wouldnt really be around long.. That was more than three years ago, now he is sortof grown up, we have another GSD as well.
Then I signed up as "kelso" on other forums to be consistent...and so that I could remember it! If I could do it over I would just use my first name... Stephanie or Steph, or just last name or something, sure that is taken.

Everytime i see your name, i think of the character from That 70's Show. It's such a funny show and kelso's by far the best character on it.

Hahah! That is too funny! Ok, so I will admit that I never had a dog when I was a kid, and when "That 70's show" came out in 1998 (when I was in 8th grade-freshman year) I thought, if I ever have a dog I want a male and I want to name him Kelso. At that point I never never would have thought it would have been a GSD, I wanted a weimaraner named Kelso at the time...

so..never ended up getting "that dog" until I was much older, 8 years later when our GSD pup came home. I still said, He is Kelso! And he has fit that name. I will say with all the different groups of GSDs and dogs I have never met another dog with his name!

Kelso is quite the character!
