Explain your User Name - Page 3

Several years back, I was making an OC (original character) and I was trying to think of a name for her. I Googled a Japanese katakana chart and picked a few that I thought looked cool and that sounded good (it had the furigana/English below the character) and put it together. Thus, Konotashi was established. And it's my username on every other forum, chatroom, game site, etc. that I'm a part of, aside from one. Because I forgot my password or something and had to make a new one. xD

When my daughter was smaller she thought the expression "it's a dog eat dog world" was "it's a doggydog world". That always cracked me up and I thought it funny enough to be my name for a dog forum. Since I'm obsessed with my dogs and my world is a doggydog world.

My user name is my middle name which was my grandmothers' maiden name. She was (well actually her family was) from holland
